  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season evenly with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Let rest for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened unsalted butter with minced garlic and chopped fresh parsley. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until hot but not smoking.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and swirl to coat. Place steak cubes in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to develop a crust.
  5. Flip the steak cubes using tongs and add another tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture. Spoon the melting butter over the steak as they cook for another 2 minutes or until desired doneness (medium-rare recommended).
  6. Add the remaining garlic butter to the pan and baste the steak bites for an additional minute to infuse flavor and keep them juicy.
  7. Remove steak bites from the pan onto a warm plate. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a pinch of sea salt if desired. Let rest for 3-4 minutes before serving.
