  • 1/2 cup (120ml) buffalo hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup (75g) blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream
  • 1 cup (115g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Shred the cooked chicken finely with two forks or your fingers until you have about 2 cups (300g).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 8 oz (225g) softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk vigorously until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup (120ml) buffalo hot sauce.
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and black pepper to taste. Mix well.
  6. Gently fold in the shredded chicken and 1/2 cup (75g) blue cheese crumbles, being careful not to overmix.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup (115g) shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to brown at the edges.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions or chives if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or sliced baguette.
