Instructions
- Pour 1 cup (240 ml) cold water into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Gently heat the gelatin mixture in the microwave for 20-30 seconds or on the stovetop over low heat. Stir until completely dissolved and let cool slightly.
- Stir in 1 cup (240 ml) vodka carefully into the dissolved gelatin. Add 1-2 tablespoons sugar if desired and mix well without creating bubbles.
- Gently stir in 3/4 cup (180 ml) grenadine syrup and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice for brightness.
- Fill shot glasses or silicone molds about halfway with the mixture. Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm but slightly tacky.
