This Easy Apple Cider Caramel Sangria is a quick and simple fall cocktail made with white wine, apple cider, caramel sauce, and fresh fruit. It’s perfect for gatherings and comes together in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 2 cups apple cider (unfiltered)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup apple brandy or bourbon (optional)
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced (Bosc or Bartlett)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or ginger ale (added before serving)
  • For garnish: fresh rosemary sprigs, extra apple slices, drizzle of caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Pour the caramel sauce into the bottom of a large pitcher. Add about 1/2 cup of the apple cider and whisk or stir until the caramel is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the entire bottle of white wine and the remaining 1 1/2 cups of apple cider. Stir gently to combine.
  3. If using, pour in the 1/2 cup of apple brandy or bourbon. If skipping, add an extra 1/2 cup of apple cider.
  4. Add the sliced apples, sliced pear, and cinnamon stick. Stir gently to coat the fruit.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Just before serving, stir in the sparkling water or ginger ale.
  7. Serve over ice (optional), garnished with rosemary sprigs, extra apple slices, or a drizzle of caramel on the rim.

Notes

For best results, use a dry white wine to balance the sweetness. Let the sangria chill overnight for optimal flavor. Add sparkling water or ginger ale just before serving to keep it fizzy. Taste before serving and adjust sweetness if needed.
