A quick and easy creamy strawberry banana protein smoothie that provides a healthy boost with a perfect balance of creamy, fruity, and nourishing flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 scoop (about 30 g) vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup (120 ml) Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tbsp (12 g) chia seeds (optional)
  • A handful of ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and measure ingredients: 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 ripe banana, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, ½ cup Greek yogurt, and 1 cup almond milk. Optional: honey or maple syrup, chia seeds, and ice cubes.
  2. Add frozen strawberries and banana to the blender jar first to help with the icy texture. Follow with protein powder, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
  3. Blend on low speed initially, then gradually increase to high. Blend for about 60-90 seconds until creamy and smooth. Add more almond milk if too thick, or ice cubes/frozen fruit if too thin.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup if desired, then pulse blend briefly. For thicker texture, add 1 tbsp chia seeds and blend for another 30 seconds.
  5. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.

Notes

If blender struggles with frozen fruit, let berries sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before blending. Adjust liquid gradually to avoid runny texture. Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness. Protein powder quality affects flavor and texture. Greek yogurt adds creaminess and protein. Ice is optional depending on desired thickness and temperature.
