Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Celery sticks and carrot sticks (for serving)
  • Tortilla chips or pita chips (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Shred the chicken using two forks or a hand mixer.
  2. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes or microwaving for 15-20 seconds.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken, 3/4 cup cheddar, and 1/4 cup mozzarella. Reserve remaining cheese for topping.
  5. Grease the crockpot with cooking spray or butter. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle reserved cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, until hot and bubbly.
  8. Stir before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve warm with chips and veggies.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat Greek yogurt and shred your own cheese. If the dip separates, stir and reduce heat. Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight; add 30 minutes to cooking time.
