A quick and easy recipe for crispy pork chops glazed with honey mustard and served with sautéed green beans, perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil (for cooking green beans)

Instructions

  1. Pat 4 pork chops dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Brush the honey mustard glaze evenly over both sides of each pork chop. Let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  5. Place pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping. Cook for 10 minutes, flip with tongs, then cook for another 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. While the pork chops cook, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add 2 cloves minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Add 1 pound fresh green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  9. Remove skillet from heat, sprinkle green beans with lemon zest and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.
  10. Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking to retain juices.
  11. Plate pork chops alongside green beans and drizzle any leftover honey mustard glaze over the top if desired.

Notes

Pat pork chops dry before glazing to ensure crispiness. Use a light coating of honey mustard glaze to prevent burning. Flip pork chops halfway through cooking for even crisping. Let pork chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy. If glaze browns too fast, reduce air fryer temperature to 375°F and increase cooking time slightly. Leftovers reheat well in air fryer and skillet to maintain texture.
